Game Description

Antike is a true multi-player resource gathering wargame. Indeed, it's best played with 5 or 6 players.

It's the first of the Rondel games, featuring, as it does, a rondel around which players move their marker to chose which action to take on their turn. The aim of the game is to be the first to reach a given number of victory points, which can be achieved via a number of routes: number of cities on the board, discovering new technology, building temples, destroying temples or sailing the seven seas.

The game mechanisms are relatively simple, and there's no randomness involved, but the sum of the parts provides an involving experience for all players.
